At the September meeting of the Mayor’s Poverty Task Force, Chair, Regina Montoya shared the most current statistics on poverty in Dallas. At one point, Dallas ISD Superintendent Dr. Michael Hinojosa gave excellent remarks. Helen made a statement during Q&A about Safe Conversations regarding socio-emotional programs in schools and Dr. Hinojosa announced that a grant to Dallas was given to support this work.
