Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. But just because you’re single doesn’t mean you have to forgo the celebrations. Not sure what to do? Here are some awesome ideas of things you can do on February 14th…no partner necessary!
1. Movie Marathon
Whether you want to enjoy an action movie or a rom-com, grab your comfiest pajamas and a bowl of popcorn! Allow yourself a day to relax and enjoy some of your favorite movies. And, another thing to get excited about: you don’t have to share the remote.
2. Dessert Flight
Take advantage of your local delivery service and order desserts from your favorite local restaurants. Or, tackle a few of those baking recipes that you’ve been wanting to try. Enjoy celebrating with a day of decadence! And don’t worry, calories don’t count on Valentine’s Day.
3. Virtual Tour
Transport yourself to Paris or take a trip to New York from the comfort of your home. Tour some of the most incredible sites in the world with a virtual tour. Take your time combing through every room of the Louvre or London’s National Gallery. You can even tour Disney World and the Great Wall of China! The possibilities are endless, all while still wearing your slippers.
4. Treat Yourself
Whether it’s a face mask and a bubble bath or finally buying that shirt you’ve been eyeing, treat yourself this Valentine’s Day. It doesn’t have to be much, but make sure whatever you do, you feel cared for. After all, it’s important to love yourself too.
5. Singles-Only Virtual Party
Round up your single friends and host a singles-only party. Whether you all share dinner together around the screen or swap funny dating stories, spend time laughing and connecting with others. And don’t forget to toast to your independence!
Being single on Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be boring. You can still celebrate the holiday of love by yourself (or virtually with others)! Whatever you do and whoever you spend it with, be sure to practice Safe Conversations and talk, listen, and connect!
