Taking negativity out of your relationship is hard when you are quarantined at home because people get frustrated. You must learn to have fun, laugh, and be silly! Give appreciations. Notice what people are doing and appreciate it. If someone does something kind, say thank you.
One of the things that creates the most positive neurochemistry (triggers endorphins and dopamine) is what we call “positive flooding.” With an elevated voice, say “You are amazing!” “What a great man/woman I’m married to!” “You’re such a great kid!” This increases the neurochemistry for both you and your partner, supporting that what you give is what you get.
A healthy relationship is the biggest stimulant to your immune system which is your best defense against the virus.
