Give lots of appreciations. Spread them around!

“I appreciate the way you’re talking to me.”
“I appreciate that you did the dishes.”
If you have children, give them appreciations, too. (Pets, too!) Everybody relaxes when they are being affirmed.

Fun fact: When you give someone an appreciation, your brain doesn’t differentiate whether it’s for you or someone else. You feel better when you give someone else an appreciation.

What you give is what you get!
