The path to becoming a Dialogue Facilitator is for those who want to fully understand and utilize the skills of Safe Conversations in their day-to-day lives and learn how to facilitate the Safe Conversations dialogues between two or more people. It will introduce you to the foundational elements and relevant concepts behind Safe Conversations, our unique approach, and how to implement the practice into every aspect of your life. You will also be taught the intricacies of how to facilitate Safe Conversations between people who don’t know the SC dialogue and meet weekly for dialogue practice sessions.

You’ll gain access to the Safe Conversations portal, including our directory, SC resources, and training material.

This immersive path to becoming a Dialogue Facilitator is composed of two courses, Level One and Level Two. Level One and Two take a total of 48 hours and are composed of 12 lessons each, combining access to our on-demand online learning management system, our email-based 30-Day Zero-Negativity Challenge, and weekly mentoring led by Safe Conversations Senior Workshop Leaders.

There are no quizzes or grading or assignments to turn in. Instead, you will be provided with the course materials to review and complete at your own pace.

Prerequisite for training:

  • Attendance to a live or on-demand workshop. If you have yet to attend a workshop, please contact Safe Conversations support to be placed into a workshop prior to the June 1 Cohort. You can reach support at [email protected].

Important Dates:

Level One: Immersion

The course will open on March 1st

Cohort classes will be Mondays from 12 pm-1:30 pm Central Time on March 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th.

Level Two: Facilitation

The course will open on May 1st

Cohort classes will be Mondays from 12 pm-2 pm Central Time on May 6th, 13th, 20th, and 26th.

Upon Graduation:

  • Opportunity to move on to Level Three - Workshop Leader

  1. What is the time commitment for Level Two? 

Once you have completed 100% of the Level One course, you will be granted access to the Level Two course modules. Level Two takes approximately 16 hours and is composed of 12 lessons.

  1. What comes next after completing Levels Two?

When you have completed all modules and attended all cohort meetings for Levels One and Two, you’ll gain access to our exclusive Safe Conversations Leader Portal, which includes the directory of Trained Safe Conversations Workshop Leaders, as well as many additional training and resource materials.

If you decide to go on to Level Three: Workshop Leader, your Level One and Level Two training will qualify you for entry.
